Showcase Custom Cases has a 9 year history of providing the highest quality reusable shipping containers to the music and exhibit industry. Showcase evolved from the Nashville section of Carlo Sound and Cases. When Carlo closed its Nashville operation, Dave Threet the long time Master Builder for Carlo for 22 years took the business into a separate company, Showcase, enhanced the quality of the product and grew the product line and client services.

Showcase was purchased by Ken and Sharon Burbage in 2001 and still includes Dave Threet as its Master Case Designer and Builder. The company has grown further to develop the custom part of the business as well as the addition of new product lines including: uniquely designed standard cases for pedal boards, amps, guitars, keyboards and shock mounted rack equipment. The standard case line has been developed using input from and trials by noteworthy working session and touring musicians.

The Showcase Production Staff are all working musicians and sound technicians as well as road and lighting professionals who understand the needs of the touring/exhibit industry and thus are in the position to make suggestions that truly aid in getting the right design for the job. Their involvement in all aspects of the industry gives them a unique perspective on what works and is helpful for making the back of the house work as smoothly as the performance or exhibit.

The most important part of the Showcase team is the client whose ideas and needs are at the core of everything we do. The custom side of Showcase always involves the customer as an integral working member of the project team that designs and develops the case to do the specific job needed by that customer.
