Your choice of construction; light weight for flying or heavy weight for road work. Full custom cut foam insert to match your instrument. String and strap storage area is standard. Heavy weight cases have more foam protection and our proprietary Square Ball Corners which add a minimum of 15 lbs. over the light weight cases. SCCI want you to make the decision based on what you want the case to do not the price. A general rule is if weight is critical to keep cost down when flying, go light weight but if shipping by third party shipper like UPS or in a band's truck or trailer..... go heavy weight.

Note: A full foam insert protects your instrument best as any external force is distributed along the full contour of the instrument. This requires an accurate template of your instrument. We have many standard makes in house but custom or special or unusual instruments will require that a template be made. There is no charge for this but it requires that we have access to your instrument (or can locate the same make and model locally at a guitar store) or you take responsibility with our instructions to make a paper tracing. Above are our standard size cases and unusually large or small instruments might require a change to a different size case to fit properly at the appropriate price.
